Raya and the Last Dragon is a computer-animated fantasy movie of 2021. This is the 59th movie produced by Walt Disney Pictures and Walt Disney Animation Studios. Don Hall and CarlosLopez Estrada are the directors and Paul Briggs and John Ripa have co-directed this American movie. Osnat Shurer and Peter Del Vecho have done the production work while Qui Nguyen and Adele Lim have written the story. James Newton Howard is the music composer in the film. The movie has featured the voices of Kelly Marie Tran as Raya and Awkwafina as Sisu, the titular dragon, with Gemma Chan, Daniel Dae Kim, Sandra Oh, Thalia Tran, Alan Tudyk, Izaac Wang, Benedict Wong, and Lucille Soong.
Raya’s father Benja (Daniel Dae Kim) has told her the long stories of the last dragon many times. He told that some villainous forces are working across the land. The villainous forces are turningpeople into stone. So, the magical dragons have to unite their forces into a stone. A dragon named Sisu used that stone to stop the apocalypse. She gave her sacrifice in the event, although rumors said that she survived. The stone is now with Benja and Raya’s people in the movie beginning. But new era’s divided world’s clans steal it, break it, and scattered it.
After some years, Raya went on a quest to search for Sisu (Awkafina) and the stone. She wants to bring the people back together and fulfill her father’s vision of loyalty. Namaari (Gemma Chan) is the princess of a clan who chases them. In the process, several characters are encountered. Stone’s fragmentation has an impact on all of the characters. These characters make an unforgettable core in an old-fashioned adventure movie. It is an ambitious family movie that has worked for all ages. Some of the most striking imagery Disney has ever produced is there in the movie. The movie has dropped its characters in a world that feels both classic and new at the same time.
